Ah, the market. Portbound and full of things that just came in from all over the world, waiting for customers to buy. If you didn't find whatever you wanted to get here, you probably wouldn't get it at all. So where else would be a good place for the marine crew of two to stock up before setting sail, not to mention they had to wait a couple more hours anyway. Decisively leading the way along various kind of buildings and stands lined up all the way up the road, Jezebel was firstly interested in sorting the provisions problem and grabbing a couple of crates. Planning on lots of different things, fruits as well as vegetables and meat, not to mention drinkables. Though, somehow she felt like there weren't as many fresh goods available as there should have been. "This is kind of strange, you know. T'is a market and all, but somehow even after how much of it we've already seen, all i noticed being sold was things of daily use and some value goods, but hardly any consumables, that local ships would need to get in order to set sail." What a sharp observation for someone as seemingly lazy as she. Then again, who could know, she'd not been here before, maybe what they were looking for was offered in another part.
Stopping a random passerby before thinking too hard about it, Jezebel tried to get some information around these parts. So the two came to hear, that it has apparently been some kind of a shortage in certain goods and a couple of distributors stopped opening their stands or something. Naturally, the locals didn't feel much of it, seeing how the grand outdoors market mostly catered to seafaring folk. So this guy didn't know any details. Though it was enough to spark marine captain's interest. "If we want to get off this island and into career, that sounds like something we need to investigate. We need to have food and water for a trip. Totally an opportunity that screams for our intervention." Though this time Jez didn't exactly address Anais trough the usual "Recruit", she was kind of talking to her - for one thing, who else would have been around for that - albeit mostly as a ways of thinking out loud rather then asking for an opinion. Whatever the recruit possibly could have said wouldn't be enough to change the already set mind of the captain. So they would be off to find an actually affected trader for more information on the matter regardless.
